David Beckham Is My Idol & He’s The Reason I Wear The No. 7 Jersey – Griezmann

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has revealed David Beckham is his idol and the reason he wears the No. 7 jersey.
The France sensation also wears long sleeves as a form of tribute to the England and Manchester United legend.
And even though Griezmann has rejected moves linking him away from Atletico, he will love to play in the EPL like Beckham.
“I liked [Beckham] a lot,” Griezmann told the Guardian. “He was my idol. That’s why I wear a long-sleeved jersey and wear the No.7.”
When asked if he could ever be tempted by the prospect of playing in England, he replied: “Yes, why not? If I am out of contract with Atletico I would ask myself that question.”
